Vibrant Colour for Precise Drawings.
The Studio range shares the same colour core as the Artists pencils range offering the same highly-pigmented, vibrant colour however the strips are slimmer and the wood barrel hexagonal rather than round. This creates a pencil which is easier to grip and is particularly suited to more detailed work such as illustration, architectural drawing and graphic design.

Ideal for Layering and Blending.
The pencils slight waxy texture makes them ideal for layering and blending. A selected range of primary and secondary colours can be mixed to create interesting colour build and an infinite range of hues and tints.

Added Creative Options.
The Studio range of coloured drawing pencils offer an alternative to the Artists range which have a wider colour strip, suitable for a quick lay down of bold colour. Both pencils can be used together to great effect however, increasing the creative options for the artist. The bright colours of the Studio pencils are enhanced when used with Derwents black paper hard back sketch book or black paper drawing pad or alternatively they work well with any sketchbook in the Derwent range.
